Logo Design in Nepal That Starts With Your Business
Comparing logo designers? See how AlpineRoot approaches the brief, develops the visual direction, handles revisions and delivers files you can actually use.
What Makes a Logo Work
A good logo is simple, memorable, and versatile. It works at the size of a social media icon and the width of a billboard. It looks just as strong in black and white as it does in colour. It communicates something about your business without needing an explanation. A bad logo tries too hard: cluttered, trendy, context-limited. We design logos that are clean, intentional, and built to last. Every decision from typeface to shape to colour is tied back to your business.
Real Logo Work, Built Around the Business
Two examples of how we translate a business brief into a usable visual mark.
DS Autolink
DS Autolink is a scooter distributor and rental business. The design challenge was to create a creative logo with considered font typography and styling. AlpineRoot developed a premium-looking final mark suited to the business.
Gurans Laghubitta
For this microfinance business, the brief called for a modern, premium logo with strong font styling. The project went through multiple revisions so the final direction could be refined around the client's requirements.
From Mobility to Microfinance
DS Autolink and Gurans Laghubitta show how our process changes with the business. One needed a premium mobility-focused mark, while the other needed a modern financial identity. The design direction follows the brief rather than a fixed visual formula.
What You Receive After Approval
The final handover depends on the selected logo level and what your business needs.
SVG, PDF, PNG and JPEG
Final logo delivery includes SVG, PDF, PNG with transparency and JPEG files. These formats cover common digital, presentation and print uses. The artwork is built as a vector in Adobe Illustrator so it scales cleanly across sizes.
Editable Source Files
Editable Adobe Illustrator source files are available at the mid-price logo level where included in the agreed scope. This gives the client access to the working artwork for future use and controlled brand applications.
Final Ownership
The client owns the final logo after full payment. There are no ongoing usage restrictions on the final logo from AlpineRoot, so the approved mark can be used as the business identity across agreed applications.
Our Logo Design Process
We keep the process structured so decisions happen at the right stage, not after the design is already finished.
Meet and Clarify
We meet with you to understand the business, audience, objectives, preferences and where the logo will be used. This is where we clarify what you want the identity to communicate and what practical requirements the design must meet.
Build the Direction
We turn the brief into a focused visual route, considering typography, colour, form, proportion and brand fit. The design direction is shaped around the business instead of copying a competitor or following a passing trend.
Review and Revise
We review the design weekly or biweekly depending on the project timeline. Small changes such as colour adjustments or minor visual tweaks are normal revisions, with around 3 rounds depending on scope and duration.
Confirm the Direction
Once you approve a direction, we move towards final artwork. If the project later needs a complete redesign after an earlier direction was confirmed, that is treated as a new direction rather than a routine small revision.
Finalise and Quality Check
We prepare the agreed final file formats, review the artwork and organise the handover after final approval and payment. The final files are checked so the client receives a usable logo set rather than an unfinished working file.
Logo Design That Fits the Nepalese Market
A logo has to work in the scripts, channels and real-world situations your business actually uses.
When comparing a logo designer in Nepal, it helps to look beyond the finished picture. A logo is more than a file on a desktop. It becomes the mark people see on a website, social profiles, documents, signage, packaging and other customer-facing materials. For a Nepalese business, that can also mean working with both Nepali and English naming requirements.
Our work starts by understanding what the business offers, who it serves and how the identity needs to be used. That gives the design team a basis for choosing the right brand mark, wordmark, lettermark, pictorial mark or combination mark, rather than choosing a style simply because it looks fashionable.
Logo work and the wider brand identity
A logo is often the first step, not the entire identity. Businesses that need a more complete system can continue into brand identity, brand guidelines, packaging and related brand applications. The right next step depends on the business. A new business may only need a strong logo to start. Another business may already have a logo and need a more consistent identity across its customer touchpoints. A business rebuilding its positioning may need strategy before visual decisions are finalised.
Our logo-only projects currently range from NPR 3,500 to NPR 7,000. The exact amount depends on the logo requirements and scope agreed for the project. For clients who need a wider identity system, we discuss the scope before confirming the package and price.
Dual-Script Logos for Nepali and English Use
Some businesses need the same identity to work in Devanagari and Latin script. We handle this according to the client's actual use case.
Separate Lockups for Each Script
Where separate lockups are more practical, we prepare separate Nepali and English versions. This works when the two language versions appear in different contexts rather than always together, and keeps each version legible without compromising proportions.
Integrated Dual-Script Logo
Where the two scripts need to work together in the same mark, we develop an integrated dual-script logo. Devanagari characters have different visual proportions, rhythm and visual weight from Latin characters, so typography, spacing and the overall proportions of the mark are considered together from the start rather than adapted at the end.
