Learn More →What Our SEO Service Covers
A managed search programme built around your website, market, search demand and measurable business actions.
An effective SEO programme starts with understanding what the business needs from search. AlpineRoot reviews the website, existing visibility, target market, search demand, competitors and commercial priorities before deciding where work should begin.
That means an engagement is not a checklist that looks identical for every company. A business comparing an SEO agency in Nepal should be able to see what will actually be changed, why it matters and how progress will be measured. Our work can include website structure improvements, keyword research, content planning, search performance analysis, Google Business Profile work, schema implementation, internal linking, page speed improvements, quality-vetted guest placements and ongoing reporting.
Businesses looking specifically for SEO services in Kathmandu may have very different requirements from a company targeting customers across Nepal or an international market. The scope is shaped around the search demand, customer location, competition and the website itself. Nepal SEO should start with the actual website and search data, not with a generic package copied from another market.
What Happens Before the Monthly Programme Begins
The first stage is diagnosis and prioritisation. No ongoing work starts before the website and its search data have been reviewed.
Diagnosis and Priority Setting
We review search data, crawl the website, examine competing pages and identify the changes most likely to remove barriers or create useful search opportunities. The output is a prioritised action list, not a generic checklist applied without reference to the site's actual condition.
Keyword Research Mapped to Pages
Keyword research is mapped to actual pages and business priorities. We do not treat a keyword list as the strategy by itself. The research informs which pages deserve attention, what content needs to exist, what information is missing and where internal structure needs improvement.
Site Preparation
The website is then prepared for ongoing growth. Depending on the package and condition of the site, this can include resolving crawl and indexation problems, improving page structure, implementing schema, strengthening internal linking, improving page speed and preparing pages for clearer search intent.
What Your SEO Engagement Looks Like Month by Month
The first three months establish the foundation, build search assets and create a repeatable measurement cycle.
Month 1: Research, Technical Foundation and Priorities
We begin with Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, Semrush, Ahrefs and Screaming Frog to understand the website and its search visibility. We review crawlability, indexation, page structure, internal linking, keyword targeting, competitor gaps and priority pages. Keyword research is mapped to the website, Google Business Profile work is completed where included, and the first action plan is created. The client receives the initial findings, completed actions and the priorities that will guide Month 2.
Month 2: Content, Page Improvement and Search Assets
With the foundation in place, we expand and improve priority pages based on search intent and keyword research. Where content is required, we produce in-depth page copy and supporting blog content rather than filling a calendar with shallow articles. Google Business Profile posts are published where included, and quality-vetted guest placements begin gradually. Reporting continues so new search and traffic signals can be compared with the starting position.
Month 3: Continued Implementation and Data Review
The same delivery cycle continues according to what the website now needs. Additional pages can be improved, new content opportunities can be addressed, Google Business Profile activity can continue and quality-vetted placements can be added at a controlled pace. Google Search Console and Analytics 4 data are reviewed for changes in clicks, impressions, rankings, traffic and enquiries. Those findings determine which actions should continue, change or move up the priority list.
Ongoing: Reporting, Refinement and Next-Period Planning
Each month closes with a progress report and client call. We review tracked keyword positions, search impressions and clicks, organic traffic, leads, enquiries, calls and other agreed conversion indicators. The report explains what was completed, what the data shows and what actions are recommended next. Higher-tier engagements also receive more frequent ranking and activity reporting, quarterly strategy reviews and forward-looking action plans.
Who This Service Is and Is Not For
AlpineRoot's managed SEO works well for some businesses and is not the right fit for others.
A Good Fit
Businesses that can make website changes, have a realistic time horizon for organic search and want a structured monthly programme rather than isolated advice. This includes established service businesses, local companies, ecommerce businesses, new websites with a clear market and organisations operating outside Nepal that want a team with Nepal-based delivery and international client experience.
Not the Right Fit
A business with a very limited budget that expects immediate results, a website that cannot be changed, or a business that wants only paid traffic without investing in organic search. AlpineRoot does not offer SEO as a quick-results service and will say so clearly if the expectations and timeline are not compatible with how organic search actually works.
The Tools Behind the Decisions
These tools are used to find issues, identify opportunities and measure what changes after implementation.
Semrush
Semrush supports keyword research, competitor gap analysis, ranking analysis and market comparison. AlpineRoot uses the data to identify realistic search opportunities, understand where competitors are gaining visibility and decide which pages or content opportunities deserve attention. The value is the decision made from the data, not the software report itself.
Google Search Console and Analytics 4
Search Console shows how the website is appearing in Google search, including impressions, clicks, queries and page performance. Analytics 4 connects search traffic with on-site behaviour and agreed conversion actions. Together they help us see whether increased visibility is producing useful visits, leads, enquiries, calls or other business outcomes.
Screaming Frog
Screaming Frog helps us examine the website at page level so issues are found before they become hidden limitations. We use it to identify broken links, redirect chains, duplicated page elements, indexation signals, weak internal relationships and other crawl-related problems. Those findings become practical fixes that improve how the site can be discovered, understood and maintained.
What the Search Data Shows
Two real client examples with the metrics supplied by AlpineRoot.
NP Movers
NP Movers was measured from May to August 2026. During that period, Google Search Console recorded 430 total clicks and 59,288 total impressions, with the site appearing for more than 1,000 unique queries. The site had 143 indexed pages. Daily impressions increased from 368 to 920, approximately 2.5 times the starting level. Brand terms held positions 1 to 3, multiple suburb-level terms reached the top 10, and mobile performance was 46% stronger than desktop by position.
Awesome Mate Removals
From May 1 to August 16, 2026, Awesome Mate Removals recorded 96 total clicks and 5,930 impressions in Google Search Console, with visibility across 310 unique queries and 31 indexed pages. Daily impressions increased from 12 to 145, a 12x increase. Brand terms appeared in positions 2 to 4, while non-branded visibility emerged for Yokine at 5.99, Nollamara at 6.69, Dianella at 9.25 and Balcatta at 13.86. Mobile performance was 52% stronger than desktop by position.
What Makes SEO in Nepal Different in Practice
The right search strategy starts with the actual condition of the website, the local market and the way customers search.
A common mistake is to begin with a list of keywords before checking whether the website can support the strategy. AlpineRoot often sees Nepal business websites where the biggest barrier is not a lack of ideas. It is the condition of the existing site. The first review frequently reveals keyword stuffing, overlapping pages targeting similar searches, missing or incomplete schema, important pages that are not indexed, duplicated content and thin pages that do not give a searcher enough useful information. Adding more content does not automatically solve a structural problem.
Google Business Profile is part of the local search picture
For businesses that depend on customers finding a nearby service, Google Business Profile can be a major part of the search programme. AlpineRoot can handle the full profile process, including setup or basic optimisation, business information, service details, images, review-related improvements, updates, posts and ongoing profile activity. The work is aligned with the business information used across the website and local search presence. This is especially relevant when a business wants visibility for location-based searches in Kathmandu or other Nepal service areas.
Nepal-focused search work cannot be reduced to choosing one Google domain and assuming the rest will follow automatically. AlpineRoot uses the market, query intent, location and actual Search Console data to understand how a site is performing for the searches that matter. Mobile and page performance are reviewed as part of the Professional package because search visibility is not useful if a page is difficult to use after someone reaches it.
Many businesses can purchase an SEO package. The harder question is whether the work can actually be implemented. AlpineRoot operates across strategy planning, research, review, content and implementation. A typical month can move from research into implementation, from implementation into measurement, and from measurement into the next set of actions without breaking the workflow between separate suppliers.
There is no useful universal timeline that can be applied to every Nepal website. A new site with little search history, an established local business and a complex ecommerce website can have very different starting conditions. That is why the programme connects research, implementation and measurement rather than publishing activity for its own sake.
What We Look for in a Nepal Business Website
The first priority is to understand how the site is currently being discovered and where the structural problems sit.
Indexation and Crawl Status
We check which pages are indexed, which queries already produce impressions, whether important pages are visible in Search Console and how internal links connect the site. A page that is not being indexed properly cannot rank regardless of how well its content is written.
Page Structure and Search Intent
We check whether the page structure matches the way customers search. A company targeting SEO services in Kathmandu may need location-focused pages and stronger local signals, while a national business may need broader category or service coverage. Search demand also has to be matched with the actual commercial offer.
Competitor Gaps and Keyword Conflicts
We examine competing pages to identify gaps in content, keyword conflicts between the client's own pages and opportunities that have not been developed. Ranking for a high-volume phrase is not enough if the resulting visitor has no reason to become a customer. The keyword direction follows what the business can credibly offer.
How Long SEO Takes: An Honest Answer
Months 1-3: Technical fixes, page optimisation, tracking setup. Improvements in site health but not major ranking changes yet. Months 4-8: Content and link building gain traction. Rankings begin moving. Months 9-12: Consistent organic traffic and measurable business results. Anyone promising page one in 30 days is either lying or using risky tactics.
